YOU LOVE THE BALTICS BUT YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THEY ARE?
You will find some Baltic travel ideas and tours to the Baltics on this page. Look at the menu on the left to read more about the Baltics and their neighbours. And scroll down to find the guided tours to the Baltic States – come over and let us show you around!
Three neighbouring countries – Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia – share a common history, seacoast and Song Festivals but at the same time they are all unique. Just look at Lithuania‘s castle on an island, Latvia‘s guild houses, or Estonia‘s well-preserved medieval Old Town. All three Baltic capitals have UNESCO-listed old towns which will take you centuries back in time. Stepping outside the Old Town you will find yourself in a modern European city. Sand dunes on the Curonian Spit, National Parks and Estonian islands are just few examples of unique Baltic nature.
THE NEIGHBOURS. Travelling to the south-west from the Baltics you would find a small part of Russia – Kaliningrad – which shares the picturesque Curonian Spit with Lithuania. Further to the south lies Poland which was part of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth – the largest and one of the most populous countries in Europe in 16th and 17th centuries. If you head north from the Baltics you will find a country of thousands of lakes and islands – Finland. And just go to the very east of the Gulf of Finland and you will find yourself in one of the world’s most beautiful cities – Saint Petersburg. Or cross the Baltic Sea and enjoy the morning on the cruise ferry surrounded by thousands of Swedish islands in Stockholm archipelago. All these neighbours of the Baltics are easy to reach from any of the Baltic capitals and we have tours that will take you to the Baltics and their neighbours to show how similar and also different they are.
